Will ADAL to MSAL migration be enabled for Microsoft HPC Pack, after ADAL deprecation in June 2023?

If an application uses Microsoft HPC Pack 2019 for deployment and management of HPC cluster in Azure, how can it be protected when ADAL is deprecated on June 30th 2023. Will HPC Pack receive an upgrade to MSAL and the applications using HPC Pack continue to operate seamlessly. Today, ADAL is used to connect to Azure VMSS and Azure based cluster head-node VM, so would not be fully protected after the ADAL deprecation.

    Hi @Philip Bull ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

All the Microsoft first party apps should complete the migration before deprecation date i.e June 2023 and applications can continue to operate seamlessly.

Just make sure to update the software to the latest version to upgrade to MSAL.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks,

    Shweta
