Hello there, Most of the time an BIOS or driver update might sort this issue but as it has already been done we might need to look into other solutions. You may need to recall if you did a Windows update. Because investigations have shown that corrupted files during system installation can cause this matter. You can try the general troubleshooting steps from the below article and see if that helps https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix-usb-c-problems-in-windows-f4e0e529-74f5-cdae-3194-43743f30eed2#bkmk_usb411 Hope this resolves your Query !! --If the reply is helpful, please Upvote and Accept it as an answer--
Display connection might be limited
Hi, I have a TB4 certified laptop plus a certified TB4 dock, connected using certified TB4 cable. However when I plug my laptop in the dock, which has an external monitor connected, I get a warning from Windows saying "Display connection might be limited Make sure the DisplayPort device you're connecting to is supported by your PC. Select this message for more troubleshooting info." Now I know 100% it is not my PC or monitor (or the HDMI cables in between) because if I bypass the dock and connect the laptop straight to the monitor using the same USB-C to HDMI cable, this message never appears. The dock is Anker PowerExpand 5-in-1. This is a certified TB4 dock so I am at a loss why I get this message when using it. Anker actually directly replaced it and the replacement has the same issue (the replacement also came with new TB4 cable). It is highly unlikely 2 docks and 3 TB4 cables (I have a separate certified TB4 cable) have the same fault. Any one have any ideas? Thanks
