Hello! When editing aspx documents in Visual Studio 17.5.1, I could right-click on a class selector in HTML code and select "Go to definition" from the pop-up menu. However, after upgrading to 17.5.4, I can no longer find the "Go to definition" option in the menu. Please see the screenshots below, which are from the same file in the same ASP.NET website project but in different versions of Visual Studio. Why

Could you please let me know if I have a setting issue or if this feature has been removed? Thank you!

    Hi @cm,

I tested it again. The option was still not shown in my VS2022, but found the option was available in VS2019.

I have reported it to Product Team, please check the ticket:

"Go To Definition" is missing in .aspx file - Developer Community (visualstudio.com)

You can vote and add your comments on that ticket to track the process.

If there is any update, I will sync here.

    Sincerely,

    Anna
