Hello,

I have Windows31549-windows-unins.jpg server 2003 R2 service pack 2 enterprise edition, we have server 2003 domains level and forest level, recently i try to update server 2003 through WSUS which is installed in server 2008 R2, the problem i face is to unnecessary folder created in drive C:\windows folder with name " $NtUninstallKB932168$ ". this type of folder created with different KBNumber , please suggest me to to get rid of this folder,? are those malicious?

    The $NtUninstallKBxxxxxx$ do not perform any operational function other than as an uninstall routine support for the KB

    These are the uninstall routines for the various KBs that have been installed. If you're sure you'll never need to uninstall them the $NtUninstallKBxxxxxx$ can be removed.
