Hi, Not long ago I purchased a device for making music. It uses a USB port for transferring files to the computer. On my portable computer, "HP Probook 450 G8" there is a USB driver "Intel (R) USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.20 (Microsoft)" and the transfer of files doesn't work as it should. I tried transfer of files on another computer that has the driver "Intel (R) USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft)" and everything works as it should. I tried to downgrade the driver "Intel (R) USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.20 (Microsoft)" to "Intel (R) USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft)" without success, which is why I am asking for instructions how to accomplish a downgrade. I would appreciate your reply at your earliest convenience. Best regards tajtaja about my portable: HP Probook 450 G8 Notebook PC Device name DESKTOP-D6R3URB Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)

Hello there, The simplest solution would be to uninstall the driver and then install the exact version. To rollback the driver, you may follow the steps below: Press Windows + R on the desktop screen. Type devmgmt.msc and hit enter. Expand the category you want and right click on the driver and select properties. Navigate to driver tab and click on RollBack driver. To find the exact cause you can dig more using Windows native tools. Process Monitor is an advanced monitoring tool for Windows that shows real-time file system, Registry and process/thread activity. You can get the tool from here https://docs.microsoft.com/enus/sysinternals/downloads/procmon System Monitor (Sysmon) is a Windows system service and device driver that, once installed on a system, remains resident across system reboots to monitor and log system activity to the Windows event log.You can get the tool from here https://docs.microsoft.com/enus/sysinternals/downloads/sysmon Hope this resolves your Query !! --If the reply is helpful, please Upvote and Accept it as an answer--
