Office365 reenable admin account

I am frustrated to the Nth degree with this nonsense.

Recently we purchased 5 licenses for Office365 business edition. The plan was to migrate away from a very poor mail host and instead use Office365 as the host. I set the migration in motion on Friday. I logged into the {username}@{company name}.onmicreosoft.com account, almost all of the accounts when I realized I was one license short. Seeing that the owner of the account {username} had also been made an account I used the down carrat to select the proper domain for the user, planning to the rename the owners mailbox for the last end-user. In doing this I was made to logout and then log back in. Which now I am unable to do. I have called MS and spoken to at least 5 different people on two occasion over the last 3 days (several hours wasted). Not helpful at all. Completely counter productive. I have followed the automated process to receive a code (which didn't work no matter how many times I've tried) and also had MS call the office twice where they congratulated me for validating and said my new password was accepted (which wasn't given the option to enter and any point), but it did nothing to get me logged in with administrative capability. While email will work I'm still one end user short. While I can login as the owner I cannot administer the account. I need to get this resolved ASAP, preferable before Monday's day starts and not getting email becomes a factor for one person. Does anyone has a CONCLUSIVE way to get this resolved? I know it was my fault that this had happened but there simplly must be a way, a back door to accounts, that MS can use to either grant a validated user Admin permission in the account or set the {Username} account back to its .onmicrosoft domain. This frustration and futility of this automated crap underscores the need to stay away from O365 and stick with local on-premise exchange server. Still, THIS issue must be resolved. Any actual help is appreciated.
