Morning,
I am just starting with using this to discover and monitor scheduled task, which we have a lot of.
I cannot find where I could change the severity of the alerts generated by this from Warning to Informational.
If any one else is using this/has used it, I would appreciate your assistance.

    Hi @Tony Strother ,

As Stoyan mentioned, to change the severity level of the Task Scheduler management pack you will have to create overrides for the rules or monitors, the same way you do with any other management pack.

To change the severity levels of the alerts in the Task Scheduler management pack, you'll need to create overrides for the monitors:

    1. Go to the Authoring tab.

    2. "Under Management Pack Objects", go to Monitors.

    3. Click on Scope

    4. Now search for the Task Scheduler management pack by typing "Task Scheduler", then select View all targets, and then select all the found items.

    31732-scope2.png

    5. Now you will see all the monitors available in the Task Scheduler management pack, here's a few examples:

    6. Select one monitor, right-click it and select Overrides > Override the Monitor > For all objects of class: <Class Name>, for example:

    31657-override1.png

    7. Now place a check mark in the check box for the "Severity", then under the "Override Value" column, select which severity you want, then select the destination management pack (create for example a new "task scheduler overrides" management pack) then click OK to apply the change.

    Example:

    31741-override2.png

Now you've successfully changed the severity of the Last Result Successful Monitor, rinse and repeat for the other monitors :-)

Here's the list of all available monitors in the Task Scheduler management pack:

    Hi,
the MP has different monitors and rules. You can find a list of those here:

All Unit Monitors in category: Windows Scheduled Task and PowerShell Scheduled Job MP

and also a list of the rules

All Rules in category: Windows Scheduled Task and PowerShell Scheduled Job MP

Depending on what monitor/rule you want to tune (override) you cna just go to "Authoring" -> "Management Pack Obejcts", "Rules/"Monitors" and then input the monitor/rule name, find it and create an override for the "Severity" param.

What will also help you in this, is the guide, which is available at the same download location, as the MP. In the guide there is a section ,where you will find more information:

I hope I was able to help you out!

    Hello Leon ,

That MP is working fine ,
But In some cases, if I want to disable a computer that already Discovered by this Management Pack , It continues to be seen and monitored even I disabled it .
Is there a way to remove it ?
