whenever I try to debug and run my code I keep getting a build\Debug\outdebug does not exist error for c++.
Maybe there are compilation errors, or the launch.json file is incorrect (https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/cpp/launch-json-reference). By the way, did you also try the Visual Studio 2022 in addition to Visual Studio Code?
