How can I turn off people name suggestion in SharePoint server search?

Hi team. Q1: In my environment, in the [dbo].[MSSQLogSearchCounts] table, there are a lot of people name suggestions that its AlwaysSuggest = 1, but I don't know how these are generated and how to turn off it. I never import the suggestion in search suggestion setting page (CA).

Q2: I try to turn off the people name suggestions in Search Box Webpart Settings (Show people name suggestions), But it's not working, it still shows people suggestion in search box when I type keywords. I wonder what this property does.

My Environment: SharePoint Server 2019 Thanks.

Hi @Addison Jiang,

Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce this issue on my SharePoint Server 2019 farm. People Search suggestions didn't prompt after removing suggest phrases and the corresponding items in the database are also deleted after a while. I think maybe there is a timer job that deletes them in database but I'm not sure which one is and the running duration set in your environment. To solve this issue ASAP, open a ticket with Microsoft is recommended as MS experts can have a remote session with you and help you check the logs in this case.
