Hello Please i need your help on this issue.

Recently Microsoft released a preview version of the new Teams desktop app for Windows as mentioned here https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/introducing-the-new-microsoft-teams-now-in-preview/ba-p/3774406https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/introducing-the-new-microsoft-teams-now-in-preview/ba-p/3774406 But unfortunately, we are having a little problem when using the new Teams Desktop App.

When we switch to the new Microsoft Teams Desktop app we don't see the option to Manage Team, Add channel, Add members, Leave Team, Edit Team etc. User's image

But when we switch back to the old Microsoft Teams, we do see the option to Manage Team, Add channel, Add members, Leave Team, Edit Team etc. User's image

Does anyone know why the new Microsoft Teams Desktop app does not have the option to Manage Team, Add channel, Add members, Leave Team, Edit Team etc.

The new preview version is not a final product and only a limited number of feature are available. I would not recommend using it for regular business activity and only for an initial view of the current design changes.

    Hi @Iniobong Nkanga

As Ben Teoh mentioned above, it's still in public preview, and not all features in the classic Teams for Windows will be available in the new teams.

In addition, the new Teams are built on speed, performance, and flexibility for a faster, simpler, and more flexible Teams experience, helping users save time and work together more effectively.
