If I set my Teams Meeting for attendees to have mics off and cameras off, when they go into breakout rooms will their mics and cameras come back on? We're hosting a webinar where to begin with we want their mics off and cameras off and then once they go into breakout rooms for them to come back on (mics on/cameras on). In the meeting settings, if I turn attendee mics off and cameras off will this mean attendees won't be able to turn them on during the breakout rooms? Thanks, Megan

    Hi @Megan,

Based on my test, the attendees would be able to unmute themselves once they are added to breakout rooms.

    Please see the following screenshots:

1.in meeting options disable camera and mic for attendees 01

2.when user01 joins meeting, his camera and mic will be disabled and need to be allowed by organizer 02

3.create two breakout rooms and assign user01 to one of them 03

4.from user01 view he can unmute himself in the breakout room (sorry I didn't have a camera connected in my lab) 04
