after i took my laptop to school to get all of the things i needed instaled put on i got it back and i had windows 11 pro education activated instead of windows 11 which i had before. since this has happened i have the watermark saving that i need to activate windows but everytime i try it says that it is unable to be activated and now i cant change anything on the laptop as it says that windows needs to be activated to be able to personalize the computer. how do i activate windows now that the product key dosent work and is this all because of me now having the pro education version? also why is the pro education version not recognised as windows that is activated? the error code is 0xC004C003

Hi, thanks for coming into the forums. I'm also a user like you and I'll be more than happy to help you to the best of my knowledge. Select the Start button, then select Settings > System > Activation > Troubleshoot If that didn't work, you can extract your product key in CMD. Please type on the search bar on the taskbar CMD. Right-click the result and select run as admin and copy/paste the command below. wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey Then go to Settings > System > Activation and enter the product key.
