Azure VPN Connections Resource Health Alert is Not working

hello I Test the VPN Connections Resource Health Alert. but It doesn't work. when the issue will be solved? I find the issue "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/960691/alert-rule-for-vpn-connection-not-triggering" but it still not solved. I wanna know the issue can solve and what's the reson. thank you.

Hi @risolis . I think It is not useful step. I wanna get the alert of vpn connection's resource health, not the VPN gateway resource health alert. my resources are deleted yesterday so I need much more times to test it. if you want to you can make the vpn connections for azure vnet to vnet and make alert of resource health. and than you can change some vpn Connection settings. then the connection's resource health is notavailable. but the alert not working. this link(before I attached) "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/960691/alert-rule-for-vpn-connection-not-triggering" has all of the issues. I think the issue occured by activity logs. because the vpn connection's resource health status not reported in activity logs. I think microsoft Azrue engineering team needs update to add the logs of azure vpn connection's resource health to activity logs. thank you.

Understood. I have a question for you...

Was this a S2S/P2S VPN connection? Because I do not know why I read that it was a Vnet Peering... Now this can be reported via the GitHub website. Regards,

No, It is a s to s vpn. first of all The P2S VPN is not making connection resources. thank you.

You can either re-register or unregister and register again the resource provider at the Subscription level.

The woks were not working. I attech the test capture.

In this capture. I can konw the alert is not working. the condition is the all of the connections' resource health. and you can see the time and alert history does not show at all.

Do you have network watcher running on your Vnet?

Did you configure an email group for alert notifications?

I answer Myself. It is not supported the vpn connections' resorce health alert. It just developing now. It doesn't have any plans of add the function.

I think it is because the connections' reousrce health doesn't report any activity logs.

Resource Health Alerts for VPN Connections do not appear to be supported at this time.
I don't know the exact date, but they are currently preparing to apply and will be completed soon.

Resource Health operates on the activity log and alerts must be generated with a category designated as 'Resource Health'.
Create Resource Health Alerts using Azure portal - Azure Service Health | Microsoft Learn

However, the activity log based on the category is not supported as I said, so the alert cannot be generated at this time.
