How to remove gear button & site contents for non Admin users in SharePoint 2019?

Question

Our Sharepoint 2019 is on-premise. We have a page but need to remove gear button & site contents, shared with, site permissions, add a page et al for non Admin users in SharePoint 2019? Similar question, but what are the steps for SharePoint 2019 https://www.enjoysharepoint.com/sharepoint-2013-hide-site-settings-gear-icon/ Is there an easy way to do this, the above url answer seems a bit long. Hi @MaPa65,

As per my knowledge, OOTB it is impossible to remove the gear button in SharePoint Server 2019 modern page. Injecting CSS to modern page using SPFx may help in this case but it is not recommended by Microsoft and may break in future if CSS classes get changed in the future. Options under gear button and site contents only show users what they have access to. From my point of view, I don't think this is a good practice in SharePoint.
