Hi Azure Community, This is my Day1 at Azure learning. Created a VM and downloaded the RDP file to connect to it. Getting below error. User's image

ASIA-PACFIC is the domain of the company., which is taking automatically. 'adminuser' is the admin id created while making the VM. 2 things I am looking here for a solution.

  1. Is the issue due to the company laptop or with the company domain ID which it is taking by default? What is the other alternative way that I can login to the VM?
  2. How can I cross check the admin user name which I created in the process of VM Creation. Basic details of the VM created. User's image

Hello @Pavan Tunuguntla ! Welcome to Microsoft QnA! I wish you a great journey on Azure and most of all , have fun! So , for you to connect over RDP to an Azure VM , which is new and without a Domain just enter the username as following: Username : .\adminuser {This is to remove the Domain portion } Password : <yourpassword>

Kindly mark the answer as Accepted , in case this helped ! BR
