So I want to switch to Windows 10 Home because I'm currently on Windows 10 Pro and that's what my laptop came with. However I do not want to lose my data. Again, how do I switch editions without losing data?

    Hello,

Downgrading to Windows 11 Home will remove features, please make sure on that. Home edition is most basic edition, while Pro edition provides advanced features.

If you still want to downgrade to Windows 11 Home, refer this guide:

Hi, If your laptop is licensed to use the pro version, can I ask why you would switch to home edition ? You have nothing to win to switch even if you use it at home, as the pro version just add Windows Feature, you don't loose data if you do switch. The only feature you might loose that maybe you use is the bitlocker's one. Check there for comparaison; https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compare-windows-10-home-vs-pro
