This is the most annoying issue ever, cannot get it solved and support does not know how to fix it either
Authenticator Approval 2 Digit Code
I am trying to add my work email to outlook with the use of authenticator and have added all of my email/password/registered device. When trying to login to my email, outlook sends me to authenticator to add a two digit code in. However, as i have been sent to the app, i cannot add the code in. The app informs me of the number to type, but does not give me anywhere to type it in to. how do i sort this to get access to my work email?

2023-05-15T14:42:54.69+00:00 Microsoft seems to have just recently full-scale pushed this update out to everyone so they may have fixed the bug you were having where it wasn't popping up to let you put that code into Outlook. Are you still having trouble with this or did they fix it?

2024-01-30T11:04:13.83+00:00 Each time I set up a new member of staff I have issues with the authenticator but the one thing that seems to help after trying anything I could possibly think of seems to be getting the user to go into their authenticator app, deleting their profile for the company and setting it up again. I wish I could guarantee this is a fix everytime but I may just be getting lucky and hope this becomes more stable soon. To be clear, when this work it is specifically removing and re-adding the profile rather than uninstalling and re-installing the app.

2024-08-19T17:14:27.4133333+00:00 On my android, Samsung A71, I discovered that on Microsoft Authenticator, I ONLY get the 2-digit code popup when I am off Wi-Fi, using cellular data. Off Wi-Fi, I will get the two-digit code that my organization requires (instead of the 6-digit code). Very inconvenient, and something that Microsoft should FIX. Wasted several hours of work time with my IT department trying to debug.
