Need to reduce the cost of my SQL server, its consuming a lot o processor but and the cost is becoming absurd. So the algternative is to go to a dedicated server on PostgreSQL, but I was informed that is a alternative to commit to a longer contract and have a significand cost reduction, but I can't find anything related on the process... Any Ideia how can I lower the cost with longer commitment?

@Bento Guida Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum, Thanks for posting your question.

With the “longer commitment” you can refer to ‘Azure Reserved Capacity Pricing’ which is much more economical when compared to the pay-as-you-go pricing, when the reservations are made within a 1-to-3-year timeframe.

We have explained this here in this Learn article - How to optimize costs in Azure Database for Postgres Flexible Server.
