How to fix a compatibility issue between 2016 and Office 365 Excel using Xlookup in Office 365

I created a formula in Excel running Office 365 version using XLookup. When I send the workbook to a peer using Excel 2016 Pro Plus, the look up formula returns a "Name" error. I understand that XLookup came out with Office 365. Is there a way for other users on my team who use Excel 2016 can make use of the workbook I have created where I am using Xlookup?

    Hi @Bob Acosta

Is there a way for other users on my team who use Excel 2016

Sorry, at current time we are unable to achieve it via Excel 2016 self. The root cause is as you know, Excel 2016 does not support the Xlookup function.

It is recommended to try Vlookup or other functions instead.

    Thanks for your understanding.
