Hi there I'm trying to log into MS teams using Authenticator on my iPhone but I get an error - see attached screenshot. I am trying to log into the AzureAD account The error suggests I may need to add the account again but when I try to login to my microsoft account to do so I need to use the Authenticator app to login... and I get the same error. I can't find anything online that explains how to fix this. Hopefully someone here can help? It may be relevant I am trying to log in to teams on a windows 10 workstation. I have checked all my updates and i have the lastest version of the teams app. I have also tried logging into the web option on chrome and firefox and I get stuck in the same loop. thanks in advance dan IMG_1133

    Hi @Dan | h u m a n

    Thanks for visiting our forum.

Teams tag is mainly focused on the general issue of Microsoft Teams troubleshooting. Based on your description, this seems to be an issue with the authenticator app.

Have you set up other verification methods before?

Here are a few things to try to troubleshoot:

    • Log out of all accounts and clear your login credentials.
    • Clear the cache.
    • Restart your device.
    • Switch network connections to make sure your network is stable.
    • If you don't have another verification method set up, contact your administrator to disable multi-factor authentication.

For more details about multi-factor authentication, you could refer to:
