After successfully publishing a web application using the publish method in Visual studio 2022, I could not view my application over the internet. I later logged into my windows server control panel and discovered that my folders and files went into a newly automatically created folder, which is the name of my website, and did not go into httpdocs folder which is the default folder for windows hosting. Could it be that when publishing the application via Visual Studio 2022, I had chosen a different destination folder from "httpdocs" in the box designated for "destination folder" in the publish window? Please what should I do?

I finally found a way. I chose the wrong Site path while publishing the application, that was why it did not go into the httpdocs folder. Si this time I chose the htpdocs folder in the Site path box, and the files are in the there.
