I have tried to download and install virtual cable on azure virtual machine (win10/11). I can see that VCA is installed but I cannot select it in windows mixer and it is not available among devices. Please see attached screenshot. What can be done to resolve this issue? I have installed it, rebooted VM but still VAC is not appearing among other audio devices and cannot be selected in windows as input/output. Probably some additional configuration is needed? tc_install

Hi, I'd be happy to help you out with your question. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Firstly, let's check that the VAC driver has been installed correctly. You may want to try uninstalling VAC, restarting your VM, and then reinstalling VAC. It's important to follow the installation instructions carefully to ensure that the driver is installed correctly. Next, let's check the audio settings on your virtual machine. Please right-click the volume icon in the system tray and select "Sounds" from the context menu. In the "Playback" and "Recording" tabs, make sure that the correct audio device is selected as the default audio device. If you are connecting to your virtual machine using a remote desktop client, please ensure that the audio settings are configured correctly in the client. You can do this by going to the "Local Resources" tab and checking that the "Remote audio playback" option is set to "Play on this computer." In case the above steps don't work, you may want to check the VAC configuration. Open the VAC control panel and make sure that the correct number of cables is selected and that the cables are set to the correct sample rate and bit depth. If you're still facing issues, you could try using a different virtual audio cable software such as VB-Audio Virtual Cable or Virtual Audio Streaming. If you have any other questions or need assistance with anything, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm here to help.

Were you able to solve this issue Václav? I have been trying to solve this for 10 hours with no success. Nothing seems to work. There is no way that de Azure virtual machine shows any audio source as VB Cable or NDI source. Did you find a way? Thanks!
