There’s an issue with the Microsoft Authenticator App installed on my phone and registered to my work email address. This app is in use for two-factor authentication for two Facebook profiles, and is the only method of authentication for us to be able to continue managing all linked Business Pages & advertising on Meta. The codes aren’t syncing through and the ‘The login code you entered doesn't match the one sent to your phone. Please check the number and try again’ message keeps showing up Issue #3 - Mobile app Screenshot 4 IMG-9644.PNG . Please find relevant screenshots attached. I have tried absolutely all browsers / several different devices, nothing seems to work. I have run through absolutely all possible scenarios with Facebook and they’ve come back in saying since Microsoft was my chosen third-party authentication app, Microsoft is the only party that can assist. Only option to login - Desktop Browser.png Given our long-standing relationship with Microsoft and the gravity of the situation, I am hoping you’re able to assist promptly.

No history here but authenticator requires your mobile device clock to accurately report your local time. If your device clock is set to manual, reconfigure your system clock to automatic. After updating your clock, restart your device and make sure the new time is set correctly.

Clock on my iPhone has always been on automatic. No issues there. It was on automatic at the time of setting up 2FA too - After scanning the Barcode From Facebook's 'Securiy & Login' Page, I got a prompt on the screen to enter a number that flashed on the screen into my Microsoft Authenticator App. As soon I as I did, got a success message on the screen. Happy Days.

Two days later, when I tried to log back in, the prompt for a 6-digit code from my 'chosen third-party authentication app' would return an error when I entered the codes from the same Microsoft Authenticator App.Issue #3 - Mobile app Screenshot 4 IMG-9644
