Hello, Using this image as reference(at bottom) I'm trying to locate the SRV records (ldap) for my own domain, however when I try to open the settings I get only RootDNSServers entries as shown in next image. However, under DNSManager I can see the default SRV records available, I'm using DNSserver as my domain controller and its not a separate server. ads2

Hi, I'd be happy to help you out with your question. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. The SRV records might not be stored under the MicrosoftDNS object in ADSI Edit. However, there are a few steps that you can follow to locate them. Firstly, open ADSI Edit and connect to the Default Naming Context. Then, navigate to the domain or subdomain for which you want to view SRV records and open its Properties. In the Properties window, select the Attribute Editor tab and look for the "servicePrincipalName" attribute. This attribute should contain a list of all the SRV records for the domain. If you're still unable to find the SRV records, it's possible that they are not stored in the directory and are instead being dynamically registered by the domain controllers. In this case, you can use the "nslookup" command to query the SRV records for your domain. If you have any other questions or need assistance with anything, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm here to help.

Hello Asad A, Thank you for posting in our Q&A forum.

After I check in my lab, it is the same as your description (first screenshot and second screenshot).
However, for the third screenshot, I can see ldap entries in ADSI Edit (DC=DomainDnsZones,DC=Domain,DC=com) as below.
    dnse

I have only one Domain Controller in my lab.

Did you have multiple Domain controllers in your AD environment?
If so, you can check it on other Domain Controller and Check AD replication and DC health.
Hope the information above is helpful. If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know. Best Regards,
