I have 2 vnets that are peered. One contains my vpn gateway that i use to connect into the vnet and the other one contains my ILB ASE.
I would like to route the requests from the vpn gateways subnet to the subnet in the peered network that holds my ILB ASE.
Azures pregenerated routes from the vnet peering are not working out for me.
I've tried making a route table thats assigned to the gateway subnet and i've added a followin insert but with no luck:
adress prefix = subnet where my ILB ASE is in the peered network
next hop type = tried both virtual appliance (with the ilb ase priv ip) and virtual network but with no luck, i also saw theres a vnet peering option but thats not available in my dropdown

sorry he didn't quite understand my question but i've got the jist that you have deprecated the ability to deploy via rest request. i've managed to workaround that problem but now this thread we are talking on is about another problem, a problem with the default azure generated route tables when peering 2 vnets. i've tried creating my own custom route tables and assigned it to the given subnets with no luck.
could you please provide me with the vnet peering settings for this configuration so i can see do they differ from mines or tell me why in the route tables for the next hop type i dont see a vnet peering option even tho i've configured the peering. ty in advance!

Posting a summary of the offline discussion:
Symptom: Unable to deploy ASE using GitHub Actions.
Cause: DNS resolution errors
Mitigation: Workaround to hardcode the DNS resolution, and modified the routes so that the Ubuntu could learn the new routes.
