Hi there, I'm considering using Azure Speech for a Speech Generating Device using SDK. We are particularly concerned about latency in generating synthesised speech since this would be used for conversational purposes.

What is the average latency?
1. for our work, we ideally require a lead time less than or equal to 1 second
Can this be used offline, and if so, does this decrease the latency? Thank you!

Hello @Francesco Possemato We are happy to check this information with product team, before that, could you please provide more information about the AAC product you are mentioning? As we known, an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device, is a tablet or laptop that helps someone with a speech or language impairment to communicate, does you mean just general device or is there any specific one you are mentioning? Thanks.
