Meetings and Appointments not syncing properly between Outlook Web and Desktop - Need Help!

Hello Microsoft community, I'm facing an issue with Outlook that I would like to share with you all. The problem is that when I create meetings or appointments from the web version of Outlook, they only get added to the personal calendars of the members who have been invited. However, when I try to do the same from the Outlook desktop client, the meeting or appointment gets sent to the entire team, even if I have only added a specific user. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it? I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!
