We're running Windows Server 2019 Standard v.1809. When I tried running the updated, it automatically uninstalled after reboot and showed the error in history. I checked the following:

  1. App Readiness service is set to manual.
  2. Performance counters seem ok (performance monitor running with basic counters)
  3. The System Reserved (EFI) partition’s free space is over 600MB
  4. SFC /scannow found no issues. Not sure what else to check next in a 2019 environment - any ideas or suggestions welcome. Thanks, Mike

Hello there, Please try to install the update manually from catalogue and see if that helps. https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx Try resetting the Windows Update Agent by running these commands from an elevated command prompt. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/deployment/additional-resources-for-windows-update Hope this resolves your Query !! --If the reply is helpful, please Upvote and Accept it as an answer--
