Irregular behavior when installing Fonts in Windows 7

Hi everyone.
When i install a font in Windows 7, the fonts behave irregularly.
For instance, if I install the font family of Helvetica, write some normal text and turn the text into bold, it turns into italic instead of bold. And when I click the Italic button, it turns into Bold Italic. Why this happens?
Secondly, whenever I install a new font, and restart my PC, the "Segoe UI" changes to "Arial" or "Tahoma". To fix this, I have to reboot 2-3 times again. Please tell me how to solve this problem.
Thank you.

    Hi,

Please check if there's any anti-virus application running on the system, if yes, please uninstall it and test.

Please check if the issue still exists in clean mode. Please try to do a clean boot of the system:

    Thanks for your time!
