How can we change the email address of the sender On Microsoft 365 / Exchange online from joe@keyman .com or tom@keyman .com to sales@keyman .com

Any emails send by Joe or Tom needs to be altered to come from sales@keyman .com
Sales@keyman .com is a distribution list and both users are members of it with send as permissions
The users don't want to keep using the "From" Field and set Sales as the sender.

Is this possible with outlook rules or other mail flow rules in Exchange online?

There is no way to do this via an Outlook setting or a Transport rule. However, you can still achieve this via a macro or an add-in.
See: Send As a Delegate or a Distribution Group by default

Another way to go would be to turn the Sales into a mailbox. You could then set that mailbox as the primary mailbox for those users and add their personal mailbox as an additional mailbox or a separate account.

Hi anonymous user , the reply above from Robert gives quite helpful suggestion, you may consider try the resolutions provided in the link above to meet your requirements.

There is no such outlook rule and transport rule can be set to change the sender's email address.

And the address rewriting feature works in messages enter or leave your organization through the Edge Transport server, not suitable for your scenario as well.

Thanks, anonymous userSparnaaij and @Joyce Shen - MSFT

I will do some testing on the primary and additional mailbox and see if this will work first else I will go with the Macro.
