End of Microsoft Office Support for Mac 2016

Question

Please note that the subscription for Microsoft Office 2016 was meant to be a lifetime subscription. It is so irresponsible for a big corporation like Microsoft to start asking for payment again and again for things that people paid before. I think if you require everyone to switch to the new mode of payment, there is a need for rebate to earlier purchaser the earlier payment amount for 2016. Otherwise, it will be deemed as double payment for the same piece of services.

I understand your feelings, support for Office 2016 for Mac would ended on October 13, 2020, it means that to stay up to date with all the latest features, patches, and security updates, you need to spend money to upgrade to a newer version of Office.
