How to create a certification profile account and then align the learn profile and the certification account

I am trying to register for PL-300 Exams via Pearson. I am having difficulties as my telephone number keeps showing on the form online as an invalid number, yet it is valid and live. I called Pearson VUE to help resolve this issue but they couldn't and sent me back to Microsoft. I would like to fix the certification profile glitch and align my certification profile to my learn profile ultimately. Thanks for your assistance.
