I am looking for SaaS solution to allow my end users to access and query their SQL data, to create BI charts and reports, etc. However, it must have a solution for complete SQL Illiterates (WYSIWYG). I found something called DataPine which is located in Germany and I've never heard of them or Chartio which is no longer available. Any suggestions for a similar application within the Azure ecosystem?
Is PowerBI & DirectQuery an option?
Good point but PowerBI would need a license no? That could get difficult with many customers. Also, Power BI is not really an easy out-of-the box tool to use. You need to know your way around.
