    VMware is not a microsoft product so you should take the issue up with VMWare or try asking in their forums about proper licensing of their products.

    Hello,

    I believe your question is not related to the compatibility of Host/VMs but the licensing applied. In that regarding the AVMA licensing of virtual machines using a Windows Server 2022 licensing can only be implemented using Hyper-V hypervisor.
