Are You sure. The post says about Windows Server 2022 not a Windows DataCenter 2022.
I can't find anything else than Hyper-V.

I believe your question is not related to the compatibility of Host/VMs but the licensing applied. In that regarding the AVMA licensing of virtual machines using a Windows Server 2022 licensing can only be implemented using Hyper-V hypervisor.
