What can I do to Reactivate Windows on my Desktop pc ,for three weeks all attempted suggested fixes/solutions received from Support staff have failed.

This three week ongoing issue , was triggered by an unauthorized install of a random Windows Update generated by Windows . This process occurred even though I had the SETTINGS for incoming updates at download updates only.

The corruption of my PC started immediately after completion of the Install, as i was online at the time of the occurrence and was surprised when my PC went to restart without my request.. An notification warned about restart and system restarted before i could review new Update. After A prolonged restart i intervened with negative results , unplugging device was done after approx.25-30 of continuing cycle. 5 min after shutdown , I turned system on and error code on black screen with information on what occurred " unable to locate necessary source to continue '' "unable to reboot'' also displayed were step by step solutions which all failed . and did nothing to approve the issue and would just return back to black screen , utilizing an windows tool is when i found that the new Windows install triggered the deactivation of Windows on my 13 month old Desktop PC . I didn't attempt re installation , because i wanted to inquire about fix that i could use that will , 1. Work 2. that can be fixed without lost of important files. so far my desktop solutions failed and worst of all my worries are that after Resetting my pc that i will find more damage. So Windows staff your Update caused this . anymore suggestions ?

    Hello there,

Do you have product key or is it digital licence?

If you have the key try this,

Step 1: Open the Settings app.

Step 2: Click Update & security.

    Step 3: Click Activation.

Step 4: Click Change product key and then enter your 25-character Windows product key and then click the Next button. Make sure that your PC is connected to the internet while clicking the Next button.

Have you created any restore points before the update?

The Windows Activation Troubleshooter will help you address the most commonly encountered activation issues on Genuine Windows devices.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
