Is it possible to have an application running on an SQL server version different than the SSRS server version ?

Also for the report viewer, does it related to the SSRS version the application is using ? Or are they totally separate ?

    Hi @Mohamed Khaled

    What are your SQL server and SSRS versions? You can host a report server database on a different version of SQL Server. In general, you can run a version of SSRS and host the database on a lower version of SQL Server.
