Enabling multi-choice categories in Events Web Part?

Hi,

Is there a way of enabling multi-choice selections for the Category column in the Events Web Part? I've tried editing the list settings to change this, which it allowed, but then it displays the message (see image) so it seems only one category is supported. Is there a way around this?

As the message says, everts web part only supports one category per event. It's by design to not confuse the category of event and to better classify and search. So, until now, there is no possibility to enable multi-choice selections for the category column.

You could submit the suggestion to everts web part category in the feedback portal.
