Shorten Teams meeting url

Question

I am using /me/onlineMeetings endpoint to create new meetings. Although the new meetings are getting created successfully the joinWebUrl string in the response is too long. Is there any way to shorten this URL or generate the short meeting URL through any other parameters?

Good afternoon and thank you for your question. I tested /me/onlineMeetings and see the response and the joinWebURL result is by design. Alternatively, you can use URL shortening links but that will be out of my expertise.
