"Send updates" prompt not displayed when updating meetings

When a meeting organizer updates a meeting by adding or removing attendees, the following notifications are no longer displayed in Microsoft Outlook or Outlook on the web:

  • Send updates only to added or deleted attendees.
  • Send updates to all attendees.

    Issue Symptom:

    "Send updates" prompt not displayed when updating meetings.

    Solution:

    Go to File > Account settings > Account Settings > Select Change > More Settings > Advanced Tab > and under Microsoft 365 features - > uncheck the Turn on calendar improvements.

    Catarina Lima - What version of Outlook are you on? We just got an update and still have advanced options.

    the instructions above are not possible in my version unfortunately I don't have the option to turn off the new Outlook version, can not access the Advanced setting to modify the calendar version I'm currently using.
