Hello Team,

As per my Orchestrator and SCSM Integration.

I need to know the ports required with specific directions to get open at both the ends.

    Hello,

there are two ways for Integration:

    1. With the Integration Pack for System Center Service Manager (SCSM) you can connect an automate SCSM with Orchestrator Activities. This uses the Service Manager Console (SDK binaries) to connect to Service Manager.
So, you need [Orchestrator Runbook Server(s) -tcp/5724‑‑> SCSM Management Server]
    2. For the System Center Orchestrator Runbook Connector in SCSM to trigger Orchestrator Runbooks from SCSM you need to open the Port from the Orchestrator Web Services, which is default 81 ans if secured e.g. 443.
      [SCSM Worflow/Management Server ) -tcp/81,443‑‑> Orchestrator Webservices].

If you are using System Center 2022 note (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/orchestrator/release-notes-orch?view=sc-orch-2022#service-manager-connector-doesnt-work-with-new-web-api): "

Description: Service Manager (SM) console doesn't detect Orchestrator 2022 installation because the Connector for the new Web API is yet to be released.

Workaround: Install the Orchestrator 2019 Web features on the computer alongside Orchestrator 2022. Ensure to configure the Orchestrator 2022 database in the 2019 Web features. The SM connector can monitor Orchestrator 2022 with Orchestrator 2019 Web service. "

    Regards,

    Stefan

    Hi,

This depending on what activities you want to execute you might want to check the respective ports.

If you have problems of some kind, you can use a network monitor tool, filter the communication between the server and the remote point and see what ports the queries are going to.
