WHEN COPYING DATA FROM SERVER 1 TO LUNS NOT UPDATING IN SERVER 2 IMMEDIATLY

Dear sir,

we have dell unity storage 380 and 2 dell r740 servers(windows server 2019 os) , we created 9 luns in storage and added to both servers 9 luns using MPIO . (servers are not in domain)

now the issue is when copying data from server 1 to san luns , then not showing data in  server 2 san luns immediatly ,if i restart server or make disk offline and online then only data updating in luns in server 2 .

please provide solution for this ? i need to use same storage luns in both servers parallelly.

    Hello there,

    Copying LUNs is a nondisruptive operation. Please check the below points sand make sure of it

    You cannot copy the following types of LUNs:

    A LUN that has been created from a file

    A LUN that is in NVFAIL state

    A LUN that is in a load-sharing relationship

    A protocol-endpoint class LUN
