Teams Meeting Co-organizer

Hello,

Please I need your help on this issue.

I would like to get more information about Team meeting Co-organizer.

I have entered 2 co-organizers at a meeting so that they can completely take over the organization of the meeting if I am ill or unable to attend for any other reason.

Now one of these co-organizers should cancel the meeting - but cannot. Obviously, I have from the role of "co-organizer" expects more than is possible.

 

I can't find any information online about the rights for co-organizers either.

What I expected the Co-organizer to do and she could not do: The meeting needed to be cancelled, but I had no Internet-access. So I asked her by phone to cancel the meeting and she couldn’t do that.

As a result, everybody else joined the meeting just to get the information by her, that the meeting was cancelled.

Specific questions:

• Though it is not explicitly mentioned on the information page, I assume Co-organizers can’t cancel a meeting?
• Can a co-organizer re-schedule a meeting for another time/date?
• Can a co-organizer invite additional participants and remove participants form the invitation list?
• For a channel-meeting: can the co-organizer change the meeting option for “automatically record the meeting”?

Co-organizers are displayed as additional organizers in the meeting participant list and have most of the capabilities of the meeting organizer. The following table shows some capabilities for your reference:
