The sharepoint is upgraded from 2010 to 2016 version, the workflow still the old one, the weblink in SharePoint still the old one. But I can't edit the workflow on the web, already shows error when I try to access it.

    @sns
    Here’re some tips for you to troubleshooting the issue.

    1.Delete the cache by deleting all files in the below folders.
    C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
    C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache
    2.Go to All Files -> Workflows -> Click the workflow name -> Click the workflow name.xmol -> Edit File in Advanced Mode -> Save -> Publish.
    3.Install the latest updates for SharePoint Designer 2013.
    4.Uninstall SharePoint Designer 2013 then reinstall.
    5.Reboot the server.

    Did you upgraded first to 2013 and then to 2016 right ? Is it a 2010 / 2013 workflow ? If it's 2010 workflow make sure you publish the workflow and clear the cache and try again. If it's 2013 workflow do you have workflow manager configured for SP 2016 ? If you did make sure you publish the workflow and try it again.

    Thanks & Regards,
