How to join a PC to Domain with static IP

Hi,

I want to join my Laptop to IP based Domain network and get some services of internet, printer and file sharing.

How can i join my laptop and get these services on a IP based networking environment?

Windows for business | Windows Client for IT Pros | Directory services | Active Directory
Windows for business | Windows Client for IT Pros | Networking | Network connectivity and file sharing
Windows for business | Windows Client for IT Pros | User experience | Other
Microsoft Security | Microsoft Entra | Other

    Hi,

    First you will need to Domain name handy with you and admin rights if you want to join the workstation / laptop to the domain, make sure there is network connectivity to the AD domain, and follow the steps listed here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/identity/ad-fs/deployment/join-a-computer-to-a-domain

    Joining with AD and Joining with Server... what is the difference between them?
