How to join a PC to Domain with static IP

Hi,

I want to join my Laptop to IP based Domain network and get some services of internet, printer and file sharing.

How can i join my laptop and get these services on a IP based networking environment?

Hi,

First you will need to Domain name handy with you and admin rights if you want to join the workstation / laptop to the domain, make sure there is network connectivity to the AD domain, and follow the steps listed here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/identity/ad-fs/deployment/join-a-computer-to-a-domain

I have read the link you sent and found it quite helpful. But my question was when should I put the IP, after joining the domain or before?

My second question was how can I find out which IPs are free in my network so that I can use them further?
