I just download the ASR OVA and have it registered Azure. Problem is when I try to install the agent on a VM I am missing the connection.passphrase. I have found articles online on how to get this but I checked the entire server and I do not have a genpassphrase or connction.passphrase files..

Hello @rr-4098 Thank you for contacting us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to assist!

It looks like you are using the modernize appliance not the classic one and trying to follow the installation of the classic instead of the correct one.

Just follow this installation for GUI:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/vmware-physical-mobility-service-overview#install-the-mobility-service-using-ui-modernized

Or cmd line:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/vmware-physical-mobility-service-overview#install-the-mobility-service-using-command-prompt-modernized

This should help resolve your issue. Please reply if you need help!
