False positive when submitting App - "Windows Protected Your PC. Microsoft Defender Smartscreen prevented"

Hello,

I'm getting a false positive when submitting my application - "Windows Protected Your PC. Microsoft Defender Smartscreen prevented". I have downloaded Edge and submitted the application multiple times indicating my application is safe but I have not heard anything back for weeks. Can you please help how to resolve this issue?

    Good Evening.

    I have had the same issue. The steps I took were as follows.

    Find your program in your downloads folder.

    Right Click

    Properties

    Check the Unblock box, then apply your new setting.

    Then run the program again.
