Cannot select Container Registry in Azure Kubernetes Cluster

I am stuck with creating Azure Kubernetes Cluster as I cannot select Container registry? I have logged in using Global Administrator not sure what am I missing.

-What are you trying to do e.g. creating an Azure Container registry(ACR) via Azure portal? Describe and share any documentation you are following.

-What do you mean when you say- you cannot select the Container Registry, share any screenshots.

-Which region are you trying to create ACR?

-What Azure Subscription type do you have? (Free Trial, Pay as you go, CSP etc.)

I have attached the screenshot earlier, but not sure why it didn't add it. Anyway adding it now.

I have Container Registry in East US region with couple of repositories. I want to deploy these repositories onto Azure Kubernetes Cluster, but on the Integrations tab the Container registry field id disabled.

Based on my understanding, you are trying to create a new AKS cluster and integrate it with an existing ACR.

More information and guidance can be seen in this document: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/aks/cluster-container-registry-integration?tabs=azure-cli#create-a-new-aks-cluster-with-acr-integration

Can you provide more information about your blocker? It is related to your user rights?
Did you make sure you have the required role (e.g. at least contributor) for ACR as well? Are they under same subscription?
What is the error, message that you get during creation, can you share a screenshot.

As per the informative message you got in the registry creation blade, you must have the required role to perform that action.
-If those resources ACR and AKS are under same subscription, then you need to make sure you have the RBAC - Contributor role at the subscription level in order to be able to manage those resources.

Therefore, apart from the user administrator role you have (which lets you manage user access to azure resources) you will need either Contributor one (if you want to keep with least privilege) or even Owner at the subscription level if possible. But this can be achieved with only Contributor.
