MS Edge - Browser Sign-In policy not working

Question

Hi. We are testing MS Edge GPOs and find out, that GPO - "BrowserSignin" does not work. Can you confirm, that this policy has been disabled by Microsoft or is it a bug? Other tested policies for MS Edge works perfectly.

Translate for a screenshot: On the right side there is a RSOP.msc with GPO BrowserSignin - DISABLED

You should enable the policy and set value to Disable browser sign-in. The doc's description might be a little confused:

If you set this policy to 'Disable', make sure that you also set the NonRemovableProfileEnabled policy to disabled because NonRemovableProfileEnabled disables the creation of an automatically signed in browser profile. If both policies are set, Microsoft Edge will use the 'Disable browser sign-in' policy and behave as if NonRemovableProfileEnabled is set to disabled.

Policy options mapping:

• Disable (0) = Disable browser sign-in
• Enable (1) = Enable browser sign-in
• Force (2) = Force users to sign-in to use the browser

Thank you, I enabled this policy and set it to "Disable browser sign-in". It works, but red dot at the profile icon still remains - It's highly disturbing.
