Azure Backup Vault cannot be deleted (ResourceMoveOperationInProgress)

A Recovery Services Vault has been stuck after a failed move operation for monthes and cannot be deleted. I tried to delete it from the portal and from the Azure cli.

I always get the same error :

(ResourceMoveOperationInProgress) Cannot execute the operation as ResourceMove Operation is in progress. Please retry the operation after the ResourceMove Operation has completed. If the issue persists, please contact Microsoft support.

Code: ResourceMoveOperationInProgress

I have a basic support plan, so I'm not able to create a technical support request. Shouldn't be a way to contact support since this is clearly an Azure bug ?

    @Unicore Technologies Welcome to Microsoft Q & A Community Forum. I understand that you are trying to delete the recovery vault but however its stuck in ResourceMoveOperationInProgress.

    Before I redirect you to technical support team, follow this document and see if there are any dependent resources present in the recovery vault.

    If you are still facing issue even after following the steps mentioned in the document, kindly drop mail to AzCommunity@microsoft.com with subscription ID and thread ID for verification purpose with subject as "Attn:Swathi".
