Can we filter out external users Org-Wide Team based on a criteria such as security group or distribution group

Office 365 admin center provide the several filters such as license or department. The following picture is for your reference:

In this case, we recommend you use the licensed users to filter external user in your group. Because external user do not need to assign license to them.
